Jenna Dunning's favorite location to get away from the hustle and bustle of life is Hickory Nut Falls. This beautiful location offers a 404 feet tall waterfall that is the second tallest waterfall west of the Mississippi. With an easy and kid friendly trail Jenna Dunning travels here consistently.

Beech Mountain is a beautiful serene location where 50 acres of parkland, 10 acres of lakes, and 28 miles of hiking zones can be taken advantage of and used to make your camping experience next level. With a 5506 feet above sea level community, Beech Mountain is one of Apex Outdoors favorite locations to camp.

Jockey's Ridge State Park

Jockey's Ridge State Park offers a free to visit park with the tallest sand dunes in the Eastern US. With a free admittance and more than a million visitors a year, the 30 million tons of sand allow for pleasant sight seeing and paragliding.
